David is a 1st Dan in Wado-Ryu Karate. and is our most senior Sempai (a Sempai is a senior grade student, who mentors junior grades and assists with their instruction). He is a highly talented, multiple gold medal winner at senior kumite (sparring).

David trains and competes for us when back from university. He also assists with black belt gradings and enjoys mentoring and tutoring junior grades of all ages.

Alec is a 1st Dan in Wado-Ryu Karate and a gold medal winner at senior combat kumite.

Alec's passion for the martial arts,

attention to detail and keenness to invest in others make him an excellent mentor to younger students and adult junior grades alike.

Eleanor, Andrew, Ewan and Charlotte are our Junior Sempais. All 1st Dans in Wado-Ryu Karate, they set the standard for others at training, with their dedication and focus. Andrew and Ewan are both gold medal winners at advanced combat kumite, and Eleanor and Charlotte are silver medal winners in kumite and kata respectively.

They are all highly experienced,

having each trained for over 10 years,

and they are excellent mentors to both younger students and adult junior grades, sharing their passion for the martial arts with their approachable manner and patient, observant coaching.
