On joining us, you will get:
- Tuition tailored individually to you. Factors which could be considered limiting, such as age, flexibility or a disability should not prevent participation and belt progression. Instead, training is adapted to individuals’ personal circumstances.
- Access to a friendly, supportive environment: our team of black belt senior students (known as 'sempais') are on hand to support you in your training goals. Students of all grades are encouraged to 'be each other's coach' when doing pairwork drills.
- Members-only belt syllabus documents, with accompanying training videos, which clearly show and demonstrate how to practise the content for your next grading.
- Kata videos, each filmed in front- and rear-view and including slowed-down sections, to assist you with your learning and refining the moves of these set forms for gradings, competitions and your skills progression.
- Use of club sparring and training gear during sessions.
- Discounts on karategis (karate suits) and other training equipment, such as sparring gear and focus pads - when you would like to buy your own.
- Student insurance (sometimes referred to as ‘peer-to-peer insurance’), via the BMABA – (British Martial Arts and Boxing Association), which we are fully accredited members of.
